Hey! Linux version seems to be borked. Ran the application and all I got was this, no intro splash or anything, just a solid pink screen that the custom cursor popped onto, seemed stuck like that. The Windows version successfully loads the main menu when ran with Wine though. *Unfortunately doesn't run at a playable frame rate on the backup PC I'm stuck using rn </3. Game looks very interesting so I'll be following for when I get my main PC running again!
Sorry to hear you ran into this issue. Are you playing using a Steam deck or a similar device? If you are, you could try downloading the game via Steam as it is available there as well and might perhaps work better 🤔
Oh no terribly sorry to hear that! Was it a specific part of it that made you uncomfortable? The zoom in when going into aim mode for example or was it the camera movement overall?
Linux is always an option, specially for older hardware. You keep getting security and driver updates, so instead of a software issue, the worst that can happen is a hardware bottleneck.
if your laptop is ~5 years older than my 1st laptop, it's likely your GPU is pre-Kepler series. https://endoflife.date/nvidia-gpu states Professional & Consumer Kepler GPUs security support ended around Sept 2024.
if your laptop is 2008, then based on the endoflife website i provided, your GPU is likely from the Tesla(Consumer) series, whose Active Support and Security Support ended in ~2016.
As Azure Lights says, linux is always a possibility. But even that has limits. Using my 1st laptop as example, it uses Linux Mint, but the distro maintainers are also constrained by what Nvidia does. Nvidia released 470.256 as the final driver version meant for Kepler series GPUs, which the linux distro maintainer *then* has to integrate for Linux Mint.
note: I don't play games anymore with this 1st laptop, I am just illustrating that the hardware is just really old and no longer supported.
Hi! I didnt talk for this playthrough because I thought it was perfect and cozy just as it was. I'm a very stressed person and love relaxing games- Thank you for this one! I enjoyed the hour I played!!
This was a delight to play through! A nice, cozy time to cool off on stream. I absolutely ADORE the design of the Muri and am looking forward to seeing more of them!
My completion percentage ended up being 98.6% and not for lack of thoroughness. There were some objects, more specifically some rocks and some tube corals, that refused to pop even when they were completely clean.
Those bugs aside, the controls and movement are a kinda awkward, but overall is a truly delightful game.
This has all the potential to be a full fledged, full length, multi staged thing.
The game is a bit awkward to play because the arrow keys aren't available for movement. I'm lefthanded, you see, and my mouse is on the left side of my computer. I don't have the muscle memory for WASD, and trying to cross-over to use them with my right hand feels awkward. Not a complete dealbreaker, but if there's anything in the game I have to move and shoot fast, I won't be able to do it, because my left hand is doing everything.
amazing! personally just the right size for a chore-like game & omg the designs are so cute. I just know once y'all blow up people will look back through the past work and love this gem<3
I did not find a config file with keybinds. Any plans to add changeable keybinds? Also, someone else mentioned the idea of mouse-movement when using the sprayer, that would be more intuitive.
i loved it!!! it was really nice and relaxing, the graphics was amazing too. i could just wander around and look at the scenery. 100% progress within ~1,5 hour of playing <3
Enjoyable experience! The art direction was lovely, and the character design was cute; matched the vibe, but didn't overdo it. The color scheme was on-point, and I did like the inclusion of the one orange little critter.
The gameplay, while simple, felt good. Aside from a couple things here and there regarding inconsistent walking vs running & jumping, the movement / camera felt smooth and never frustrating. The water spray mechanic was intuitive and worked without issue.
I unfortunately had to look up a video for the end cutscene, as the middle section wouldn't proc for me despite scouring and spraying everything multiple times (and I didn't have time to replay the whole thing). I'm sure this is something that's already being taken into account for the full project, however, so I'll just throw in my +1 for that issue.
In all, it was a game that was nice to look at and felt good to move around in. A lot of small projects have good art, but clunky, awkward movement that gets frustrating after a while-- but this is not one of them. It was a pleasure to play. Thank you for sharing this little demo, and I look forward to any projects that your team makes in the future!
As we are a small studio, we have not code-signed the game, which will give this warning that Windows can't verify that the game has not been tampered with, and want you to make the informed decision to trust the software yourself.
You can still play the game by pressing "Read More" and "Run Anyway", and the warning will disappear.
another reason why most games cannot be ported to android either because of the engine limits, perfomance issues or you need to waste money for that kind of a feature

Sadly, i cant seem to play this because my Windows 8.1 PC doesn't support DirectX 12, only DirectX 11.1
Womp womp.
Otherwise, game looks absolutely awesome!
brother why are you still using a windows 8 pc in 2024 :0
Not much else i can do on a 2008 Dell Inspiron with only 1.8ghz of processing power.
:/

We're developing our games in Unity and unfortunately, it no longer supports building games for Win 8.

Thank you so much for playing! There is more adventures to come featuring the Muri 😁⭐
Sorry for the old recording (May), hope it doesn't look too dated. But I love the game so far, it's the cutest!
Thanks for playing :D
Such a fun, adorable, relaxing, and satisfying game! I adored every minute playing this game, really look forward to what you make in the future!
Thank you! 🥺 We are currently working on our next game, keep an eye on our socials!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! We are already working on a fully-fledged game featuring the Muri so any and all feedback will help ^^

Thank you so much for this feedback! We work to make the game accessible but it is our first PC game so we're still learning ^^
why i can't download .zip file?
Hey Nara!
Perhaps your firewall is deleting some of the files when you try to download the .zip file. Try pausing it when downloading!
Please let us know if this solution doesn't work and provide more details if possible 🥰

hey so i downloaded the app but it says that my pc is at risk??-

oml thank you😭😭
Damn, why don’t such good games come out on Android (although I understand why, it’s all about power and demand, but still...
because android devices are usually weak if you compare them with pcs
But some developers manage to port their games that were originally for PC to Android..... but such games have not been ported yet, strange 😅
i know
