#1 Update | Balance fixes


°∘ Hello again!

It's time to roll out our very first update to Project Shoreline. This will include some fixes to the camera, balancing of the major objectives, and signposts to show if you're all done with a major objective! Please continue to give us your wonderful and very helpful feedback. 

‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾

Major changes:

  • Added "signposts" that show each major objective
  • Added a new aim option, Dynamic, that attempts to choose between toggle aim and hold aim depending on how long the button is pressed
    • This can be changed in the settings menu
  • Added settings to the start menu

Minor changes:

  • Pearl puzzle reliability updates
  • Balance changes to all major objectives
  • Fixed collision with anemone at the top of the Stone Pillar
  • Camera distance and perspective changes
    • Generally, more things are now rendered on the screen which can mean a slight performance drop
  • Updated camera collision with various environmental elements
    • There is a large chance that we missed some objects, so we would be really appreciative if you reported these to us!
  • Updated RockPond waterfall VFX not being turned off when unclean
  • Other minor code exception fixes

Linux specific changes:

  • Fixed stack overflow when going from game to main menu and back to game
